
A breadboard is very usefull for prototyping, because it does not require soldering, it is reusable. This makes it easy to use for creating temporary prototypes and experimenting with circuit design.
Now, this little tool can be upgraded to be more suitable for guitar pedal prototyping.
Here's some pictures of my DIY breadboard in order to give interested people a bit of inspiration and make the build easier:

9V battery to power the circuit and the led:

The wiring in the bypass box is quite simple:

This is a typical 3PDT wiring with the input/output grounded while the effect is off. Purple 3 circles show the wires that must come out of the box to connect to the breadboard. All the grounds are tied together along with the battery ground and then comes out of the box, for a total of 4 wires connected to the breadboard.
