Non Standard Resistor Calculator

If you need a non-standard resistor value you could probably realize a close match using two resistors. If you use two resistors in series it is quite easy to figure out which values give the best match, on the other hand, using a parallel connection it is not so easy to find a good combination.

Here is a non standard resistor calculator to show which combinations of two resistors (series or parallel) gives the best match(es) closest to the standard value, for the 10%, 5% and 1% tolerances.

Enter a desired resistance value (ohm), select the tolerance and click Calculate.

Non standard desired resistance value : Ω (ohms)
Resistor tolerance to use for the calculations:

 R1R2Result(s)Tolerance(s)

|| = resistors in parallel       + = resistors in series
