Series / Parallel Resistor Calculator

Use this calculator to determine the resistance of multiple resistors connected either
in series or in parallel. By doing this, any needed resistance value can be created,
whether because you don't have it on hands, because the total resistance required
isn't within the standard values or just to get an higher overall power rating.

Enter at least 2 resistance values in the fields below then click on the ’Series’ or
’Parallel’ button. If more fields are needed, click on the ’More/Less Fields’ button.

Note : The overall power draw shouldn't exceeds the lowest maximum power rating of any
seried resistor. With resistors in parallel, the overall max power will be the sum of all
resistors maximum power rating, althought if the resistors are of different values, the
current will divide itself such that smaller resistors will take more current.
